how we work at the H&H
Local Farm
We work with a bunch of small, family-run farms around Colorado, mainly on the Western Slope. We do pickups from the growers twice a week and use their offerings in all of our food.
Seasonal Menu
Seasonally inspired food tastes best! From heirloom tomatoes to butternut squash – its always fresh and seasonal.
Healthy-ish
A fine combo of all the right things, so you can feel good about what your eating, even if its a treat.
Love our Planet
We believe in doing our part to take care of mother earth. She does so much for us. Every container, lid, a piece of pottery, coffee bean, tomato, egg, sausage, fork, wine, etc. is chosen deliberately with our earth in mind. Gracias Senora
Community
We love our community. We wanted a place for our friends to gather. Where people can meet for a business meeting with a collaborative partner, a lunch date with a friend or a rejuvenating meal after a long ride. Not to mention the events – rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, cooking classes, lecture series, wine parties…etc. etc. etc.

Happenings
For the last 8 summers, we have been working with local farmers to bring the freshest produce, honey, flowers, and more back to our sweet mountain community. It’s what we, ourselves wanted. We thought others might too. We drive to Palisade and back twice a week to pick up the goods and then we both sell produce to our customers as well as use it in all of our cooking. Working closely with these growers enables us to know everything about the food – seed to harvest. We know when it was picked, how it was grown, the characteristics of various obscure varieties you can’t find elsewhere… and we know that our farmers are making a living. We are so proud of this aspect of our business. To us, this is the only way to do things.
